I am discontinuing this blog. Access to wordpress.com is blocked now and again in China making it difficult to update and prohibiting anyone in China viewing the site.
I have set up a blogdown site at guyabel.com where I will continue my prolific (once, maybe twice a year) blogging and expand on newly published research.
For subscribers to this site who wish to follow the new site, I suggest using either the posts RSS feed or my equally prolific twitter timeline for updates.
